Melanie Lainez, LMFT, is the Internship Program Manager at Consejo. Melanie received a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Medical Family Therapy certificate from Seattle Pacific University. She completed her internship at Swedish Medical Center in Central Seattle Primary Care. She has been licensed in the state of Washington as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2017. Professionally, Melanie has worked in a community mental health agency providing services to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families in roles such as: case manager, psychotherapist, and intake therapist. In addition, Melanie has supervised staff members and practicum and internship students placed in a variety of settings.
